International Exhibitions Bureau, established in Paris, in 1928, regulates the frequency and quality of exhibitions falling within its remit.

Bidding for elevator system in Expo Center

Shanghai Expo organizers started accepting public bids for an elevator system in Expo Center.

The Expo Center is one of the three most important permanent buildings at the site. Construction began on June 7 and will be completed by November 2009.

The other two are the Performance Center and China National Pavilion.

Companies bidding for the contract need to consider the elevator designs of all three permanent buildings.
