Date:27/02/2008
China's Heilongjiang Province yesterday asked the public to submit ideas on the theme of its exhibition for Shanghai Expo 2010.
The public has been invited to make submissions until March 31. The final winner will get 60,000 yuan (US$8,379.89).
Provinces and cities in China will get 600 square meters each to showcase their varied traditions. The exhibitions of national participants will be held in a joint pavilion in the China Pavilion section with separate pavilions for Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan.
Other provinces, including Zhejiang, Yunnan, and Gansu, are also soliciting public opinions for exhibition plans and theme ideas for their pavilions.
