Japanese cosmetic giant Shiseido today signed a contract with the Expo organizer, becoming the 8th project sponsor for World Expo 2010.

The company will provide sun cream, cosmetics, perfume and shampoo at Expo 2010.

Shiseido is the first Japanese project sponsor for Expo 2010.

Chen Xianjin, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, and Miyagawa Masaru, general manager of Shiseido China, signed the contract.

Shiseido was established in Tokyo in 1872. It set up its China branch in Shanghai in 2003.

So far, Expo 2010 has 13 global partners, eight senior sponsors and 10 project sponsors.
