Bremen to offer urban traffic solutions at Expo

Bremen will introduce a car rental system that has improved the German city's traffic conditions as an Urban Best Practices Area case at World Expo 2010.

The city today got permission from the Expo organizer to begin preparations for its UBPA case presentation.

The city will build a pavilion in a paper-folding style to present the case themed “From knowledge to innovation: Urban mobility solutions.”

The pavilion will have five exhibition areas – City of Nature, Science, Mobility, Culture and Future.

The UBPA is a highlight of the Expo, bringing together cities that can bring advanced technologies and innovative ideas. 

World Expo 2010 now has more than 60 UBPA cases from both Chinese and foreign cities.
