Organizations, institutions and businesses in China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region can now make group bookings for World Expo 2010 tickets.

A ceremony was held in Hong Kong yesterday, to mark the start of ticket sales in the region.

Until June 30, organizations, institutions and companies in Hong Kong can book regular tickets at HK$154 (US$19.87) and peak day admission tickets at UK$201. Peak periods during Expo 2010 cover 17 days including Chinese Labor Day holiday (May 1-3), National Day holiday (October 1-7), and the last week before closing (October 25-31).

Tickets will go on sale for the Hong Kong public from July 1, and three-day tickets and seven-day tickets will be available until the start of next year.

The China Travel Service (Hong Kong) Limited has been authorized as the sole ticket agent in Hong Kong. People in Hong Kong can dial 2998-7010 or check www.ctshk.com to book tickets.
