Colombia confirms participation

Colombian Vice President Francisco Santos meets Huang Jianzhi,deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination.
With the confirmation of Colombia's participation in the 2010 World Expo, all 33 Latin American countries will be on display.
The confirmation also brings the total number of participants to 238 - 190 are countries and the rest are international organizations.
Colombian Vice President Francisco Santos met Huang Jianzhi, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination late last month during Huang's visit to the country.
Santos said that Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping invited Colombia to participate in the 2010 Expo on behalf of the Chinese Government when visiting the country in February.
Colombia decided to participate and has already set up a working team led by Santos himself, he told Huang.
