How many cities may I visit with RMB 160? Are you kidding? It is even not enough to cover the travel expense to a single city, let alone the tour of cities. It’s true! Come to the simulated street block within the Urban Best Practices Area (UBPA) at Expo 2010, where the best practice cases made by the world’s most advanced cities will be reproduced at 1:1 scale.
Come on! Let’s take a fantastic world tour now!

The Best Eco-living Place:
Shanghai-EcoHousing
Upon entering the Shanghai-EcoHousing, it gives a clear and elegant impression, with green plants dotted in wooden and cany furniture, which looks clean and tidy. The massive PV solar devices at the roof garden serve as an important energy source of the whole building. A wind turbine is installed at one corner of the roof, which utilizes breeze to generate electricity. The EcoHousing also contains many advanced eco-technologies, such as the reclaimed water system, the atrium lighting system, and the center dust extraction system, to build a more environment friendly house.

The Best Office Place:
New "IL Sole 24 ORE"Headquarters
A lot of light, highly transparent and shake-proof filtration membrane double-deck glass is applied to the outer wall of the New “IL Sole-24 ORE” Headquarters. When night comes, the whole building is brilliantly lighted, like a ”magic lantern”.
This brand-new “IL Sole 24 ORE” Headquarters, covered by green walls and roof, is from Milan, Italy. The greatest highlight of the building is the use of a lot of recyclable materials, technologies and techniques.
The Best Leisure Place:
Macao's Tak Seng On
Open the door, walk into the Heritage Exhibition of a Traditional Pawnshop Business, and go by the red screen-wall with three big characters ‘Tak Seng On”, you’ll find the high hock counter over there, where you may experience a pawn game if you like. The second floor accommodates the world’s first “Jin Yong Library”, which attracts Jin Yong fans worldwide.

The third floor serves as a teahouse, a busy place attracting many tea sippers to enjoy their tea chatting time.
Traffic Tips:
The UBPA covers an area of around 15 hectares. A tour solely by walking would fatigue visitors, who can ride around the area on a bike offered by the city of Odense (Denmark) free of charge.
Summer Tips:
The hot summer sunshine would make you feel a little bit tired. If so, please take a short rest at the Living Water Park, and enjoy the cool of water. The prototype of the Living Water Park, a unique water treatment practice, is installed in the city of Chengdu, China.
