Expo is actually a world show. Its highlights will be much more than the innovative exhibitions.
Take Expo 2005 Aichi as an example, it extensively exhibited worldwide cultural heritages and art treasures. Its daily events and activities fell into eight categories, such as movie, music, living theatre and dancing. Others included the events and activities for 182 national days or special days, and some major festival celebrations. A series of intercultural performances, traditional or modern, elegant or popular, were created and offered. In the same way, participants worldwide will devote themselves to offering the best cultural performances, representing their respective nations and regions at Expo 2010.
The Expo Theme Show
Each world’s fair has its innovations and creations. However, the theme show is always the essential, as well as the highlight of cultural performances and activities. Super stars will shine at the Expo by offering wonderful thematic performances, and enjoy the carnival together with visitors. These performances will reflect the Expo theme, and help raise visitors’ awareness of our common concerns.
Under the theme “Happy Expo Beyond All”, the various cultural performances and activities will help build a happy atmosphere, where “Each day is a holiday”. During the Expo, more than 20,000 performances and activities, including concerts, dramas, folk arts, dances, multimedia shows, music & fireworks, vocal concerts, acrobatics, circus, martial arts, and parade floats, will be held to greet visitors.
