Interference Solving
During the period of interference solving the radio management department will:
Carry out on-site inspection, examination and evidence gathering.
Require the organization or individual to provide relevant materials and documentation.
Interview the people concerned or witness, and take documentation on all information.
Discontinue illegal radio radiation with the necessary technical measures.
Close down any radio station which is illegally operated or established, and confiscate the radio equipment if necessary.
Notes
The operator and owner of any radio station, radio equipment and non-radio equipment radiating radio waves, which creates detrimental interference, should take immediate preventative action.
Any radio station, radio equipment and non-radio equipment, which is operated to radiate radio waves operated during Expo and its preparation, and which creates harmful interferences, thus having a severe negative impact on the Shanghai Expo or endangering national security and the security of people’s life and property, should cease operation immediately. If necessary the radio management department shall prohibit the radio transmission or radiation with technical measures or other administrative ways, such as switching off the power supply, or dismantling the equipment creating harmful interferences.
