This theme represents a central concern of the international community for future policy making, urban strategies and sustainable development.

Expo Emblem
The emblem, depicting the image of three people-you, me, him/her holding hands together, symbolizes the big family of mankind.

Haibao
Created from a Chinese character meaning people, the mascot "Haibao" embodies the character of Chinese culture.

International Exhibitions Bureau, established in Paris, in 1928, regulates the frequency and quality of exhibitions falling within its remit.

Guizhou selects service supplier

Guizhou Province in southwest China is choosing a service supplier for Expo Shanghai Online from the 15 corporations that have applied.

Eight suppliers have met the requirements, Guizhou officials said.

Guizhou's online exhibition at the 2010 Expo will highlight the province's scenic attractions as a summer resort, echoing the theme of its exhibition at the real Expo site.
