Expo Emblem
The emblem, depicting the image of three people-you, me, him/her holding hands together, symbolizes the big family of mankind.

Haibao
Created from a Chinese character meaning people, the mascot "Haibao" embodies the character of Chinese culture.

International Exhibitions Bureau, established in Paris, in 1928, regulates the frequency and quality of exhibitions falling within its remit.

Children's Series of Expo Knowledge Books Come out for the Summer

As summer comes around, the Editorial Office of Expo 2010 Shanghai Magazine works with Juvenile & Children’s Publishing House to present the Children’s Series of World Expo Knowledge Books to increase young readers’ experiences and knowledge about the world exposition during summer vacation.

The Children’s Series of World Expo Knowledge Books includes Departure from Crystal Palace, All Starts from World Expo, Arena for Creation, and Glance at Expo 2010. Through the form of questions and answers, the four books introduce a lot of historical stories, exhibit stories and anecdotes related to the world expo, and portray a general picture of the upcoming Expo 2010.

In these four books, “Haibao”, the vivid and adorable mascot of Expo 2010, acts as a “guide” to lead the young readers to transcend time and space, and discover the mysteries of world expo.
