Technical issues and current preparatory progress regarding the development of Expo Shanghai Online's experiencing pavilion were elaborated yesterday at a conference gathering domestic representatives and organizers.

Expo Shanghai Online will have two functions: a browsing pavilion and an experience pavilion.

Visitors to the browsing Website will find a three-dimensional virtual exhibition of the real Expo site, showing all the highlights of the experience through text, pictures, audio, videos and animation.

The browsing pavilion is being built and provided free of charge by the organizer on the basis of content given by the participants.

Visitors to the online experiencing pavilion will be able to interact with exhibits and develop virtual spaces and exhibits in a kind of fantasy-land of possibilities. Expo participants will build their own Websites and hand them over to the organizer, which is responsible for integration, operation and maintenance.
