Haibao
Created from a Chinese character meaning people, the mascot "Haibao" embodies the character of Chinese culture.

International Exhibitions Bureau, established in Paris, in 1928, regulates the frequency and quality of exhibitions falling within its remit.

Bye bye, fake Haibao

Staff from the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination and Huangpu District government destroy fake Expo merchandise featuring mascot Haibao on Nanjing Road Pedestrian Mall yesterday, to remind locals about intellectual property rights protection.

About 10,000 fakes were confiscated by urban management officers recently on the pedestrian mall and they were destroyend yesterday.
