Organizer promotes ticket sales in London

A delegation led by Chen Xianjin, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, is in London to promote the 2010 World Expo and its ticket sales.
Chen outlined the Expo’s progress on Wednesday to officials from the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the United Kingdom, representatives of the UK office of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and officials with local travel agencies. Simon Featherstone, the UK's project director for the Expo, was present.
Chen also met Fu Ying, Chinese ambassador to the United Kingdom, to discuss Expo ticketing in Europe during his stay.
People outside the mainland can buy tickets from nine agencies around the world, including United States-based Ticketmaster, Peregrine Travel Group, and Tianbao Travel Ltd in Canada.
