Representatives from 14 travel agencies in China receive plaques, becoming the second group of designated travel agencies for 2010 Expo Shanghai China.

Chen Xianjin, deputy director general of Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, delivered a speech at the ceremony.

The second group of 14 designated travel agencies for 2010 Expo Shanghai China has been announced in Kunming City to expand sales of the fair’s tickets to travel groups.

So far, 38 travel agencies in China have been awarded official plaques from the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination.

Chen Xianjin, deputy director general of the bureau, and Cheng Hongmei, deputy director of Shanghai Travel Bureau, attended the ceremony held before the opening of 2009 China International Travel Mart in the capital of Yunnan Province.

So far 9.6 million World Expo tickets have been sold, of which 4.72 million were group tickets.
