A spectacular movie about the landscape and water protection practices of Basel, Geneva and Zurich, Switzerland, will be shown at the Urban Best Practices Area of Expo 2010.
The eight-minute film will be broadcast ceaselessly at the pavilion of Basel, Geneva and Zurich, who will jointly present an exhibition "Better Water - Best Urban Life."
The film will be shown in "water curtain" format – which gives brighter images on a large special screen - displaying the three cities' sustainable water treatment and management efforts.
The three cities will invest one million Swiss francs (US$974,900) each and sponsors will fund another 1.6 million Swiss francs.
