Date:24/12/2009

The 2010 World Expo organizers yesterday discussed Shaanxi Province's preparation for the fair with provincial officials.
Jing Junhai, vice governor of Shaanxi, said the province's preparation was well on track. Its exhibition will take visitors through a journey to the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD).
Interior decoration and exhibition arrangement has started on a replica of a palace for emperors of the Tang Dynasty, which will house the Urban Best Practices showcase of Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi Province, Jing said.
Wang Junyi, consultant to the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, hoped Shaanxi would grasp the opportunity of next year's fair to fully showcase the province's cultural elements.
He pledged best services from the organizer.
Huang Yaocheng, counselor for national participation with the Bureau, was also present.
The delegation also visited the site of the palace and the Xi'an Hotel, which will operate catering at the Expo site.
