Vice Governor of Shanxi meets Shanghai senior official

Shanxi will spare no effort in support of Expo 2010's preparation, Vice Governor of Shanxi Province Li Xiaopeng said during his meeting in the provincial capital Taiyuan with Zhou Yupeng, deputy director of standing committee of Shanghai People's Congress.
The top officials in Shanxi have been involved in the preparation of the province's exhibition in Expo 2010. The preparation has been smooth: its Expo Online plan has been generated, and preparations are active for a delicious food street and cultural parade. The plan for its exhibition at China Pavilion was under adjustment with the opinion of organization committee of Expo 2010, adding low-carbon content into the exhibition, said Li.
Zhou first thanked the province for its support for Expo 2010 and said the Expo 2010 preparation has been smooth. Of the five permanent buildings, the theme pavilion and Expo Center have been completed, and work on interior exhibitions has started on the China Pavilion and Theme Pavilion. The work of independent pavilions has also been smooth as well as national participants' preparation. Shanghai Municipal government has put Expo 2010 as top priority as well as full support from related ministries, Zhou said. Zhou also expressed his confidence in the success of the event.
Wang Jinzhen, vice chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and member of Expo 2010 organization committee, also attended the meeting. Wang said that the province has prepared very well and he believed that Shanxi will use Expo 2010 as an opportunity to showcase the province's development mode.
