Two yachts donated by a Zhejiang-based boat maker will be used to transport visitors during the coming World Expo.

The organizer signed a cooperation deal with Dongchang Yacht Production Co Ltd yesterday and named the two boats with an "Expo" prefix.

The three-deck pleasure boats cost 30 million yuan (US$4.39 million) in total. One is 15 meters long, while the other is 23 meters. They have KTV rooms, restaurants, sauna rooms and cinemas, said Que Qingcheng, Dongchang's chairman.

Huang Jianzhi, deputy director general of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, said the two boats will meet the high-end demands of Expo visitors. Safe management will be put as a priority, he noted.
