Expo lecture rolls into Hong Kong

Students and facilities in Hong Kong yesterday attended a lecture in the special administrative region, which provided every fact about the upcoming World Expo.
Zhou Hanmin, deputy director of the World Expo 2010 Shanghai Executive Committee, and Wu Jiang, vice president of the Tongji University, jointly delivered the lecture in Kowloon City.


They elaborated on the significance in hosting a World Expo, Shanghai Expo's bidding and preparation, its challenges and opportunities to China as well as the master plan and after-use of the Expo site.
Students raised questions regarding the fair's impact on China's economy, environmentally friendly measures adopted at the Expo site, how to protect historical buildings and Expo ticketing.
