Five trial operations set

The organizers of the 2010 World Expo yesterday revealed that they will stage five trial days involving around one million visitors in late April.
Pavilions are ready to welcome visitors in mid-April according to the schedule, and performance arrangement, security measures, service plans, volunteer training and other relevant work will all be put in place at the same time, organizers said during a meeting for domestic participants yesterday.
The last trial will be citywide and will involve the largest number of visitors of 500,000, some of whom will come from the Yangtze Delta Region, said the organizers.
The China Pavilion, Theme Pavilion, Performance Center and Expo Center will open to visitors during the trial. Some overseas pavilions will also join in the scheme.
