The Expo 2010's organizer yesterday authorized the Harbin North Spring Travel Agency to run Expo-related packages with a ceremony hosted in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province.
The agency, owned by Shanghai Spring International Travel Service, is the sole agent in Heilongjiang to organize Expo tours.
Several routes have been developed, which will take visitors to water towns in Shanghai or neighboring cities. Tourist spots in East China are also included in the packages.
Heilongjiang in China's far north is known for its harsh climate, therefore, it will showcase its "snow culture" at the 2010 Expo.
