Jiangsu Province on Thursday started a provincial campaign to select 52 young image ambassadors for its pavilion at World Expo 2010.

The ambassadors will receive visitors and introduce some culture about the eastern China province during Expo. The organizers want to show a wonderful image of the province, one of the nearby neighbors of Shanghai, by deploying outstanding young workers.

The organizer said that it is a good opportunity for those young people to broaden their horizons and improve themselves by joining and eventually become an ambassador.

Several contests will be held in Jiangsu cities, such as Nanjing, Yangzhou, Nantong, Suzhou, Wuxi and Changzhou. The final will be hosted in Nanjing City, the capital of Jiangsu Province.
