Dear journalists:

The opening ceremonies of Expo Shanghai and the Expo Site fall on the night of April 30th and the morning of May 1st at the Expo Site respectively. Since there will a restriction on the number of journalists allowed on site, journalists who are interested in covering the two events must fill out the attached application form and email to mediacentre@expo2010.gov.cn or fax to +86-21-22060645 before April 20. Each print media organization can enroll one journalist and one photographer at most; each broadcast media can enroll two reporters at most (including cameramen).

Please note the following:

The notice is only applicable to the accredited media staff of Expo Shanghai (or those under accreditation procedure).

Fulfilling the application form does not guarantee entries to the ceremonies. The number of media organizations and journalists allowed on site is contingent upon the amount of applications.

The media organizations whose entries are approved will receive a formal notice from the Media Center of Expo Shanghai and be informed of relevant rules and regulations.
