Surrounding traffic: 5 Metro Lines (Line 4, Line 6, Line 7, Line 8 and Line 9) and 10 stations (For details please refer to the Expo Site Periphery Map on Page 53-54), with Line 1 in the Expo Site. In addition, during the Expo, a total of 90 bus routes are planned, including 16 routes whose terminals are in the Expo Site, there will also be 1,000 dedicated Expo buses directly leading to the Site.
Traffic to the Media Accreditation Center (Building 9, Administrative Area of the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, No. 3588, Pudong (S) Road) : Bus routes 454, 785, 818, 974, 981, 82, 314, 576, 786 and Tunnel line 1. You may also get off Metro Line 7 at Yuntai Rd. Station and take a 15 minutes’ walk to reach the Media Accreditation Center.
It takes 15-20 minutes' walk form Changqing Road Entrance or Shangnan Road Entrance to reach the Press Center, which is located within the west side of the Expo Center.
Both the Bus Routes “Circle Line” and “Expo Avenue Line” in the Expo Site are provided with a stop at the Expo Center, where you get off and a 50 meters’ walk will lead you to the entrance of the Press Center.
1. The Press Center of Expo 2010 Shanghai China provides Storage Battery Cars for accredited media personnel carrying large-sized equipment (mainly broadcast journalists) in the Site.
2. The Reception Desk in the Press Center provides booking services for flight tickets and train tickets.
3. Designated Media hotels of Expo 2010 Shanghai China provide Media Shuttle Buses to and from the Expo Site according to the operation plan.
