Expo Emblem
The emblem, depicting the image of three people-you, me, him/her holding hands together, symbolizes the big family of mankind.

Haibao
Created from a Chinese character meaning people, the mascot "Haibao" embodies the character of Chinese culture.

International Exhibitions Bureau, established in Paris, in 1928, regulates the frequency and quality of exhibitions falling within its remit.

Ticket office opens

The Expo ticket office at the entrance on Madang Road today resumes selling standard same-day admission and evening admission tickets.

There are 10 ticket offices at Expo entrances, including a gate on the river: the Dongchang Road Dock. From 8am to 5pm, day-time tickets are available, and night tickets are sold between 4pm and 8pm. Visitors holding evening tickets, which can only be bought at ticket offices on the Expo site, can enter the site after 5pm.
