Date:30/06/2010
To provide pavilion easy access to visitors who need most, the Organizer of Expo 2010 Shanghai China has consulted with the Steering Committee of Expo 2010 and reached the following consensus, drawing upon the common practices of previous world expositions with the actual visitor’s profile of Expo 2010.
1. Priority of easy access will be given to following two types of visitors.
(1) Visitors over 75 years of age (born on and before Dec. 31, 1935).
(2) Visitors with mobility impairments, i.e. those visitors with disability on the legs or other disabilities affecting the ability to walk.
Those two types of visitors shall present the valid identity (I.D. Card or Passport, etc.) or Certificate for Disabled Person to pavilion staff at the easy access before entering the pavilions.
2. One companion will be allowed for each of those two types of visitors.
3. Visitors qualified for easy access shall visit pavilions with good manners and abide by the regulations of the pavilions.
The notice will come into effect from July 1st, 2010. Participants are also encouraged to provide easy access to other needed visitors according to their own capacities.
Thank you for your cooperation.
