Staff workers from 20 pavilions in the World Expo's Urban Best Practices Area visit Tengtou Village in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province.

Staff workers from 20 pavilions in the World Expo's Urban Best Practices Area took a break over the weekend to visit Tengtou Village in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province.

Tengtou Village is one of the Global Ecological 500 and World Top 10 Harmonious Villages, admired for its clean air and beautiful scenery. While there, the visitors discussed topics on ecological preservation, garbage sorting and sewage treatment.

Tengtou Village is showcased at the UBPA, featuring old brick houses typical in rural Zhejiang Province and traditional lifestyle in harmony with their surroundings. The villagers make a living by growing capsicum, strawberry and rice.
