520K visitors tour Expo on 120th day

Cool weather brought more visitors to the Expo Site yesterday. More than 520,000 visitors crowded the Expo site by 7pm yesterday.
Among yesterday's visitors, 93,785 were group tourists and 114,837 used free tickets that the Shanghai government distributed to local residents.
A total of 83,172 tickets were sold on site, with 28,535 night admissions.
As of 6pm, the gate at Houtan had received 103,000 visitors, compared to 77,000 at Shangnan Road, 83,000 via Changqing Road and 59,000 through Gaoke Road W.
A total of 65 shows were staged by 5pm within the site, attracting some 62,000 spectators. Some 7,324 volunteers worked on the site.
The Expo Site transportation system carried 827,000 visitors. By 4pm, five medical stations in the site received 422 visitors, of whom 46 were externally injured and 9 had mild heatstroke.
According to the Expo Bureau's Ticketing Centre, some 92,000 group visitors will visit today.
Expo organizers advised ticket holders to visit the Expo Site as early as possible in order to avoid the expected big crowds during the last two months of the Expo, which will close on October 31.
