Dragon-shaped floats and performers dressed like Spanish

Dragon-shaped floats and performers dressed like Spanish mythological figures paraded through the UBPA Square at the World Expo today in celebration of the Barcelona Special Day.

The parade was inspired by dragons that exist in both Chinese and Catalan mythologies. Fire-spitting dragons are a recurring motif in Catalan celebration. It shows Spanish people's adoration of light and sun.
