Nepal celebrates its National Pavilion Day today with music, dance and exhibitions of art and culture.
The Nepal Pavilion is an exquisite work of art itself, featuring a large Buddhist pagoda as the centerpiece, surrounded by folk houses in different styles dating back to the 11th century.
The exhibition covers not only history and culture but also urban development of its capital city Kathmandu. The theme of the pavilion is "Tales of Kathmandu City — Seeking the Soul of a City: Exploration and Speculation."
