China song marks Slovakia day

Slovakians celebrated their National Pavilion Day today with a Slovakian star singing Chinese pop song "Big China" (Da Zhong Guo) this morning at the Expo Centre.
Slovakia President Ivan Gasparovic said during the ceremony that he wished people will find solutions to balance natural process and human's life quality at Expo 2010.
Yin Weimin, Minister of Human Resources and Social Security of China, said that the Slovakia Pavilion integrate urban life with Slovakian civilization development to present yesterday and today of the country's history, culture and economic development.
A “rising star” from Slovakia sang the Chinese pop song "Big China" (Da Zhong Guo) and a folk band performed Slovakian music.
The European country's pavilion, whose theme is "The World of Humanity," is in Zone C. The design of Slovakia Pavilion emphasizes central public squares and spiraling roads that symbolize a rewind into history and a journey back to roots. Videos and exhibits showcase castles, scenery, and urban development.
