Liverpool Pavilion holds Beatles Day
Date:05/09/2010
Liverpool Pavilion in Expo Site's Urban Best Practices Area yesterday celebrated Beatles Day with their songs and costume playing as Beatles members.
Every visitor costume playing as a Beatles member or singing Beatles songs got a special Beatles Day stamp on Expo passport, said pavilion workers.
Many visitors voluntarily sang Beatles' songs in front of waiting lines. The Liverpool Pavilion even offered printed version of Beatles song lyrics. "Yesterday" and "Hey Jude" were among the top choices of singing visitors and some working staff members of the pavilion even joined singing.
The pavilion later named the best singer and the best costume player as Beatles members. The winners received limited edition of "Superlambanana" ceramic figures of the pavilion's mascot as rewards.
