Czech cultural week starts at Expo

Czech writer Arnost Lustig attends the opening ceremony of Czech cultural week with Chinese edition of his book "Bile brizy na podzim".


Czech Pavilion yesterday started a cultural week with an exhibition of the renowned writer Franz Kafka and release of the Chinese edition of Czech writer Arnost Lustig's book "Bile brizy na podzim".
The week will run through September 19. It will also include exhibitions on literature giants such as Milan Kundera and Karel Capek.
The Franz Kafka exhibition displays items such as an enlarged photo of Kafka, a faxed version of Kafka's hand scripts and even his desk.
After the cultural week, Kafka's exhibition will be moved to Prague Pavilion in Urban Best Practices Area.
