Speak español when you meet Cervantes
Date:07/09/2010

Teachers from the Cervantes Institute yesterday conducted a lively Spanish language class at the Spain Pavilion to mark the opening of the Cervantes Institute Week and to promote the Spanish learning.
Some daily sentences in Spanish were taught to Chinese visitors.
The institute, founded by the Spanish government in 1991, is a worldwide non-profit organization dedicated to teaching Spanish and promoting Spanish culture.
Meanwhile, a free handbook titled "100 Phrases in Spanish and Chinese," a practical guide to introduce Spanish to Chinese speakers, has been published.
The book is specifically geared to those who visit the World Expo and is part of a project to spread the Spanish language. It can also be downloaded at www.100frases.com.cn. Expo visitors can get a hard copy of the guide by visiting the Spain Pavilion through September 12.
