Location: In the CARICOM Pavilion, within Zone C of the Expo Site
The Trinidad & Tobago Exhibition is approximately 320 sq.m and is located at the immediate right of the main entrance to the CARICOM Pavilion. Featuring a series of curves, the modern, stylish booth in shades of grey, white and red with hints of black is laid out in the form of a pan, Trinidad's national instrument, basically a large open central area with smaller semi-enclosed spaces radiating outward. The six main “pillars” or partitions contain information on Trinidad and Tobago's growing urban centres.
There are three circular illuminated cut-outs in the floor with graphic imagery and photos depicting Innovative People, Investment Opportunities, Island Paradise. The most striking features of the exhibition space are five sweeping curved walls or “pillars”, which contain information on the major urban centers of the nation – Port of Spain, Arima/Sangre Grande, Chaguanas, Scarborough and San Fernando - and these speak to the overall Expo 2010 theme ‘Better City, Better Life’.
On the left side of the Exhibition there is an Information Booth where activities such as product sales, promotional item giveaways and information services will be provided.
In the middle of the Exhibition there is a theatre and entertainment area where local films and music videos will be shown to visitors. There may also be small live performances by local artistes in this area from time to time.
At the far right is the business or VIP area where visitors interested in learning more about investment and tourism opportunities will be hosted.
