Expo 2010 Shanghai China

Theme: Humanity without Boundary
Pavilion Day: May 8
Location: Within Zone B of the Expo Site
The entrance is designed to be a white tent, which is the most common and greatly needed item for disaster relief. The tent-structure of the pavilion sends a visual impact of being "on site" and "in action." The interior pavilion is divided into three parts: "Dark Memories," "Light of Humanity" and "Your Move." These three parts depict a series of major wars and disasters humans have experienced and the unremitting endeavors the two international organizations have made to relieve all the pains and grief.
While queuing in front of the pavilion entrance, every visitor will be given a red bracelet which symbolizes "connecting both you and me."
There are four cameras on the theme wall in the interactive zone and visitors only have to show their red bracelets for the cameras to catch their faces and the bracelets. The images taken will be transferred to a LCD screen on the theme wall in a real-time fashion. Images of volunteers and visitors are put together to create a dynamic theme wall.
