Australian Trade Minister visits Expo Bureau

Hua Junduo, China's commissioner general for World Expo 2010, met a delegation today led by Australian Minister of Trade Simon Crean.

Hua extended a warm welcome to the delegation. Hua said China and Australia have a close relationship in trade. He hoped the two parties could have better cooperation and tackle problems together.

Hua introduced the general plan for the Expo site along with details on transportation and accommodation. He also showed him the location of the Australia Pavilion.

Hua hoped Australia could submit a theme statement and sign a participation contract as soon as possible.

Crean thanked Hua and said the Expo will push the development of Shanghai in many ways and the preparation of Australia Pavilion is ready to roll.
